| Us or God? - Jeremiah 1:5 |
|
God knew each and every one of us before we were ever born, and He also had a plan and a purpose for our lives. It was His desire before we were ever born that we would tell the world about His son. God knew what abilities we would have and also our short comings. Many of us think we have to be an eloquent speaker, or have a master&rsquos degree to do something for God, but God told Jeremiah not to be afraid, because he would be right next to him to help him. In verse nine it says, &ldquoThen the Lord put forth his hand, and touched his mouth.&rdquo And then the Lord said, &ldquoI have put my words in thy mouth.&rdquo If we will follow God, and prepare the best we can, God will touch our hearts and our lives, and we will be able to do greater things than we ever thought, because it wont be our words or our actions, but rather God working through us to deliver His message. God&rsquos will from the time we were in the womb was that we would grow up to tell others about Him. > |
