Well, I would like to take a few minutes and thank the Lord for what He did last night at one of our Bible studies. We have been in the middle of starting several Bible studies in the district of San Borja for the past several months. It has been exciting to see several people open their house for us to come in and teach God's word. It was so exciting to see what happened last night.

Last month we met a lady named Elizabeth and she invited us to her house at 5:00 on Thursdays to begin studying the Bible. She has been very eager to learn every week that we have come and last week she mentioned she would love to invite everybody in her apartment building to come to her Bible study but she was timid because she didn't know how they respond. I simply asked her why she invited us to come and teach the Bible in her house and she said, "Because a group of people gave me a questionaire about the Bible and I really couldn't answer half the questions and that gave me a desire to learn." So, to make a long story short we gave her John and Romans, tracts, a video, and the same questionaire that she had filled out and we encouraged her to go and visit her friends and give them a portion of God's word and then ask them to fill out a questionaire.

Yesterday when we arrived at her house she was so excited becasuse she had went out and passed out the 10 packets and had several fill out the questionaire and she signed up several people for Bible studies. It was a blessing to see her passionate about wanting to invite people and I believed the Lord blessed her last night. She had four visitors come for the first time to our Bible study that night and two of the people that came asked us to come and teach their families. She also signed up another family for a Bible study on Friday evenings.

Please pray as our Bible studies have grown. We do not have a church building with pews, pulpit, and choir loft, but I truly believe God sees a church in San Borja. There is a group of people that have accepted Christ and now they are bringing their family and friends to come and hear about Christ. In March we are planning on finding a building that we can rent so that we can combine all of these Bible studies that we have going on. Please pray that God will continue to lead and guide everything here. I do not have the support to buy a ministry and we have had to rely heavily on God, and we pray that the day we dont rely on God that he would bring us to our knees and clean our hearts. It is not easy to live a life for the sole purpose of bringing glory to God, but that is our desire. I know this has been long, but God has been very good and I wanted to share with you all that is going on.
