God has been working in tremendous ways at the Iglesia Bautista El Faro. Several weeks ago a man by the name of Juan and his wife accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour. This past Sunday he got up in church and gave his testimony. I would like to take a few moments and share with you what he shared with our church.

Juan and his wife had been studying with a group of mormons for sometime. Juan said that he was always confused as to why they put a lot of emphasis in a book that wasn't the Bible, and one day realized that much of what they were teaching could not be right. He said that from that point on he began to pray and ask the Lord to help him find someone that could teach him the truth. Shortly after he began to search he was given an invitation and a John and Romans by one of the church groups that was here with us during the summer.

He began to come to each service and always seemed interested in what was going on. Shortly, after coming to church he asked Pastor Luis Benites to come to his home and teach him more. After several weeks of studying the Bible Juan made the decision to accept Jesus Christ. He is very excited and this past week had several people at his house during a Bible study. Tonight at church he brought two visitors that were there for the first time, and they were also two people that had come to the Bible study at his house this past Thursday.

It is exciting to see people like Juan who have let God change their lives, and then have a concern to see other people find the same truth that they have found. Please continue to pray for Juan, God is going to use him in a great way. Also, pray for the Bible study that is currently going on at his house on Thiursdays. Pray that God will continue to do a work through this family.
