I would like to take the opportunity and praise the Lord for allowing us to have the group of adults and young people that came with Beacon Baptist Church. They helped us do a campaign in the church that dealt with our liberty in Christ. We had this campaign leading up to our anniversary Sunday, and saw several visitors come for the first time.

It was also encouraging to see the diversity within the group, and to see many of them realize that their was something more that they can be doing in the area of missions. They also helped us with a small remodeling project, and passed out a lot of information about the church. We are still seeing fruit from the work that Beacon did during their time here.

We had a great week teaching about missions and showing them first hand how many people are mixing the Bible with Catholicism and other religions. The other activity that we did that was were interesting was divided the group up into teams and prepared a series of activities that had to be performed by each team. Most of the activities were attached to a cultural aspect of Peru. It was a fun way to show people what the culture is really like and some of the challenges you face upon arriving to the field.
