Fathers day was very exciting here in Lima this past week. We had 11 fathers come on Sunday and had a very good service Sunday evening. I believe God is working on the hearts of several of these men and we are trusting God that one day soon we will be able to see these fathers except Jesus Christ as there personal Saviour.

Efrain preached on how to forgive during the evening service, and we had a lady that was visiting for the first time. On her way out the door that night, trying to hold back tears, she said, "thank you so much for the message, I am divoriced and have not been able to forgive my former husband for the things that he did to me." It truly was a blessing to see people touched through the preaching of God's Word.

The families here in Lima have been destroyed by acoholism, drugs and sex. Many times we are dealing with families where a man has children with 3 or 4 different women, and is currently living with someone that he is not married to. It is not hard here to get people to see that they are sinners, but it is difficult to get them to believe in a God who can forgive them of all the sin they have committed and will commit. Please pray as we now have a good group of people that are coming to church that they will be able to make the sacrifices that it takes to follow the Lord

Thank you so much for your prayers and support. God continues to meet our needs even when churches have to drop our support. We serve a wonderful God, and I encourage you to step out of the boat and trust in God's faithfulness, and let him do something great through your life.
