| Update from Peru! |
|
Praise God for his greatness and the fact that His mercies endure forever. So, many things have transpired since our last update. Our prayer is that as you read this letter you will go with us in prayer asking God for His will to be done here in Lima. I also want to thank each and every one that has had a part in our support. The financial burdens have been great while starting up the work here, but God has given us faithful supporters, and we thank each and every one for there part.

Please pray as the work in Lince continues, we are already in need of additional seating, and some table and chairs for children’s church. Also, pray for those who are being discipled that they will continue to grow in Christ, and strive to please him more. It is so exciting seeing a group of people meet to worship Jesus, who 2 months ago had never even been to a church in their life. Thank God for the opportunity to minister to these people.
We also want to praise God for the container of Bibles we received from Bearing Precious Seed. It has been a tremendous blessing to not only be able to supply our church in Lince with Bibles, but also to have missionaries drive up to our home, where we are storing 180,000 John and Romans, and to be able to fill their vehicles up with all the scripture they can hold. It is truly exciting! A big thanks goes to the many people who came to Peru with the “Operation Harvest” group. They labored tremendously to help get the container loaded and packed.
Please pray for the team of people that are working here in Lima, Peru. Rick, Christal, and Fern are all studying Spanish and getting involved in the work here, and we are grateful for there willingness to be involved. God has knitted the hearts of the Peruvians working here with the missionaries, and we all have the same goal and desire, to make Christ known to the nations.” Thank you so much for your prayers and support. There is no way in the world we could be here doing what we are doing without your help. Your sacrifice is not in vain, and we look forward to being able to share with you the great things that God is doing here in Lima. Our goal is not to be the biggest ministry here in Peru, but rather to be servants, training servant leaders. Thank you again for your prayers. |
