Well, this morning was spent in prayer praising God for who He is. We also asked God to allow us to continue to build a relationship with a man named Freddy. He is a taxi driver that has taken us around day after day to help find housing. He has a daughter that was born with bowed legs, and he is separated from his wife. Freddy needs to have a relationship with Christ and we are praying for him daily. He has promised to attend our Bible studies so we are praying that God will work in his heart.

Today was a very busy day as we went and looked at house after house trying to find a place that we can call home. We decided to try and use a real estate agent but everything we looked at was too small or too expensive. I went and bought a newspaper because on Sunday they have 10 times more listings of things available than they do the rest of the week. I began to call the houses that seemed to be suitable for what we are looking for, and was able to go and visit a few more. I found a house that seemed to be in our price range, but needs some work done to it. Tomorrow we will be going to look at it again and Lord willing we will be able to work something out.

We were supposed to sign the contract on Rick and Christal’s apartment today, but I was reminded that we are in Peru when I received the call saying that they couldn’t come today and that they would be here tomorrow. We will see!!!

I know that God already has all these things worked out, and we are waiting on him to show us what the next step is. Many times we get caught up in the things that are not really that big of a deal, but I was reminded in my Bible reading this morning that the things we think are a trial in our life are nothing more that light affliction that we endure for just a short time. Many have died taking the gospel of Jesus Christ to the world, so the things I face are really nothing.

God has been so good to us, and we are excited to be back in Peru building relationships with people so that one day soon we will be able to share Christ with them. To God be the glory great things He hath done.
